As promised here are some shots of my bonnet support and hood latch.
The bonnet support bar is 3/8 rod with a tab welded to one end and bolts on to were the bumper bracket is attached.There is a tab
on the
other side so that when it is down, the rod locks under so as not to rattle.On the hood no explanation is necessary as the photos speak for them self. The only reason for a rod rather then a cable is cables break.
