    hi, will need parts for wifes MGTD kit car  she wants (me) to fix up. How do I identify kit used? It is on VW.

    The only one I can be sure about is the Fibrefab.If you open the hood and look at the firewall on the pass.side there will be the F/F logo.around it will be a serial #.You can stand by the car with a cordless phone and call MG Magic in Fla.and he will tell you what to look for.He also has the parts.His # is,954-680-2010.There is NO website.

    Most of the manufacturers provided a serial number plate, typically to be attached under the hood as Keith mentioned. Of course, it was up to the builder to attach it. I know Classic Roadsters included the company name on the serial number plate. Not sure about others.

    Why don’t you post a few pictures. That might help us id your car.
