Hello,  Recently joined up.  We have a 1978 FF MiGi on a 67 VW.  Bought, already assembled , a few years ago.  Car was built in 1978, only 10 miles from our current home.  This is dream car #2, as number one was any MG T series.  Real one never was feasable.  Found the MiGi for very little money and did a lot of work on it.  Really appreciate the availability of low cost parts and ease of repairs.  Enjoy no engine heat in summer and with top up is pretty warm, with new heater boxes.  A couple of my buddies have MG TDs and the cost of repair and maintainance is really prohibitive.  So, after a 48 year wait, I finally have one of my dream cars and enjoy it thoroughly.  Must admit, I would sell it only for a Victor TF 1800 kit.  Enjoying the forum and would like to see a gathering, some time!  Dennis P  P.S.  My other car is a 70 MGB GT

    Welcome…
A gathering, you say? How about the Kit Car Nationals in Carlisle, PA in the spring? Currently working on the Air and Auto show in VA Beach at the end of October. We had 10 this year at Carlisle and 4 in VA last fall. Join us.

Dan: My wife and I are driving Bridget (the TD) to Pittsburgh for vintage grand prix week in July. I forget the days. I think we’ll only be overnight Thurs-Friday. But would love to meet up if your (and our) schedule allows. PM me if you’re interested.

    Hi Ed:
I’m back from vacation that Monday so I would love to meet up at the Grand Prix. Maybe we can take both cars. (my car currently has a cracked windshield). Are you entered in anything?
I’m trying to see if the British Sports car group would like me (or if they turn up their noses at replicas).
Do you need accommodation while here in the Burgh?

You might want to start a thread on the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.
