Guys,

I need a little help- I have a single carb on my 1641 and was able to buy a complete set of used rebuilt dual carbs for my buggy, but no install instructions. I have searched the net and someone sent me adjustment details after install, but I need Install instructions including pictures to replace my single w/ the duals.

I would look around some more for the go-fast VW guys.They have tuned these things to every possible situation.They can tell you how to set up for highway cruising,high speed running,low speed-high torque,good fuel mileage,anything you need to know.Lots of know-how out there.I have a much harder time trying to find info on stock versions.I am sure it is out there,I just have not found it.

I am not looking at this time for adjustment information- I need install info- how to put the carb on including pic’s.

Those are still the guys to go to.They can tell you everything you need to know on how to install your carbs.Go to the samba website and have a look around.When you ask they are gonna have some questions for you,so do your homework and know exactly what you have for an engine,(stock,mild,radical,etc)and any numbers you have on your carbs.They can tell you what linkages you need,where to get them,how to hook them up.Anything you need to know.
