Unfortunately, my two TDRs are sitting outside under car covers.  I just don’t have garage space at the time, but plenty of space outside.  Of course, the feral cats have gotten inside under the covers.  Even found a dead one there about a year ago (awful smell, it was).

What’s the secret to keeping cats out of the cabin while it’s undercover?
    Thanks,

Moth balls (naptha) does a good job of keeping mice out of stored equipment. Would probably work well for cats – but be aware that it really smells…KentT2015-01-18 08:43:22

A friend who has several cars in storage said to use liquid peppermint to keep mice out. It might work for cats as well and smells a lot better.

Thanks!  I happen to have some peppermint oil in the kitchen, so I’ll try sprinkling some around to see what happens.

You might try sprinkling cat repellant or pepper on the ground underneath the cars.

I know that problem, had mine out for just one night and the next morning the passenger compartment smelled of cat pee… Took weeks to get it all the way out.

As far as keeping them away I don’t have any nifty tips but some of the above sound like they’d work well.

Only thing I can think of is a well-made — and snugly snapped — tonneau cover.
