With thanks to Jim and Carolyn Youngs, founders of the National Kit Car Club and Publishers of “Kit Car Builder”, here is a list of car clubs focused on the kit car hobby.
This virtual club is awesome. But having been a member of the New Jersey Replicar Club from its founding in 1991 to its demise in 2008, I can say there is nothing like gathering face to face. You might want to check out one of these clubs if you are in their area.
I only included general interest kit car clubs. I omitted clubs focused on one particular type of car. That said, I did include a Michigan based Gazelle club. Front and rear engine Gazelles have a lot in common with our TD replicas. And an occasional Gazelle owner has found tdreplica.com and joined our forum. So if you live near Traverse MI, you might want to contact the Gazelle club.
I verified all the web site links. I did not verify email addresses or phone numbers.
The full list, with marque specific clubs, is on-line at: http://www.kitcarclub.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&ar tid=1
