Hey Ed – Thanks for hosting. It was great meeting everyone and being able to peep the bottoms of everyone’s car. Dick definitely won. Wow – so clean!  🙂 I can’t believe we got Vicenc’s car done. A bunch of hands and camaraderie can do that.  Schu and I had a very interesting ride back but no issues. See you guys down here sometime! Happy Fathers day!

So today I got started on my lift jacks. Welding!

3rd attempt

Ah! That was easy!

So here are photos of my new lift jack. I plan to make two of these, and at least one will have a sliding T bar on top with two snubbers so as to spread the load.

I’m also going to replace these RV leveler jacks with proper scissor jacks from like a couple old Toyota or Nissan pickup trucks.

But this is the basic proof of concept, which will be all prettied up for the next Liftmas.
