Links in your posts

When you type or paste a web address in your post, sometimes the forum software will recognize it as a link. And sometimes not!

 

When it does not:

Type (or paste) the address in your post.

Highlight the entire address.

Click the Hyperlink icon  in the tool bar 

In the pop-up, the address will appear as shown below:

 

 

Click OK, and you will return to your post.

You can also use this function to turn a word or a phrase into a link.

 

Highlight the word that you want to be a link and click the Hyperlink icon.

Type or paste your web address into the field.

When you click ok, your word/phrase will be a live link.

I should get in the habit of previewing I guess…

As you said, sometimes they convert, sometimes they don’t.
