Two weeks, Saturday, MGs of Baltimore stages its 33rd MGs on the Rocks all day at Rocks State Park, just up the line from me. This is not far from the PA/MD border. It’s a nice setting. I went last year and had a good time even though it was threatening rain. There are some parts venders (I got a TD key cut to fit my dashboard ignition switch, on the off chance I’ll be able to wire it up and make it work).
Here’s a link to my post from last year (scroll down toward the end–it’s after the pie). There was quite a selection of British automotive oddities, including a fiberglass, two-cylinder jobbie I just loved. Then there were the inveitable Jags. Plenty of MGs, including several T-series cars in various stages of perfection. If anyone wants to come up, I’ll probably ride up.

"Drive Happy"September 17, 2012 at 7:11 pm #251861Ed -are the many used MG TD parts vendors there.. or is it just a car show?
September 17, 2012 at 7:33 pm #251862It’s mostly car show, John, but they have a vender section over near the pit beef. I recall about a dozen stalls.

"Drive Happy"September 30, 2012 at 8:14 pm #251870Best thing was racing to catch up to that yellow “TR4” car as I came up RT 24 next to the river. And here is what that thing actually is: The Hathaway.
I love me some TR4 but that thing is wicked cool, eh?

September 30, 2012 at 8:36 pm #251871When I was stationed in England my boss had a TR6 and traded it for a TR7. We all called it the “Door stop”. I was partial to the MG Miget. No one in our squadron had the pounds to purchase a TR4. We were all to low ranked.
