April 22, 2016 at 10:08 am #267853Nice car!
Now the REAL fun begins…
Making it YOUR car…a TDReplica.com and a few other badges, vanity plates, lots of shiny bits from http:////mgmagicclassicmotorparts.com, etc &etc… Go NUTS!
I thought of mine as a blank slate…What I could do to make it MY car, not “the OTHER GUY’S” car I bought…Amor Conquista Todo
April 22, 2016 at 12:36 pm #267854Good to see! ;):D I like the flat black and red wheel caps.I have those same headlight brackets, mine have some corrosion so tried polishing using a Dremel but only managed to shine it up temporarily. Considered painting them black, still undecided. Also still considering adding hood centerpiece and manometer like you have already.Noticing you don’t have the running board strips, not sure it matters much to have them. I almost never step on them anyway. Although if you do get onto the running boards you might want to add those, since I’d expect the flat black to show wear marks sooner than later. Found out the hard way my (mostly) glossy black paint scratches and scuffs easily, so if I didn’t have those I’m sure my running boards would be a mess even with the few times I’ve stepped on them.Hope you will have a picture of your dash and engine posted eventually, would be great to get a look at those too.April 22, 2016 at 11:21 pm #267855AnonymousInactiveIt’s in the shop now. Gotta get it up and going properly. Needs some real love! It’ll be abit they are backed up for the Fun Run. Bummed it won’t be ready fir it but there’s always next year when I’ll have it more to my liking!
She’s going to be Elvira! Thinking about doing the interior in red like the seats are now. Maybe some Suttle spider webs, still thinking about what and where? 😉April 23, 2016 at 3:39 am #267856What a great name! I grew up watching her show. I saw her on recent show of Counts Kustoms and she still looks hot!
April 23, 2016 at 12:03 pm #267857AnonymousInactiveI’m in kingman Kingman Az so I’ve sent emails to Counts Kustoms to see if I can get them to fulfill my “vision” for the car. Gotta wait to see if they’ll take the challenge? ?
April 23, 2016 at 1:13 pm #267858That would be awesome!
