    No need to zip the files; jpegs are already compressed.

    I tried to upload a pic but keep getting this message.

     

    The file uploaded is of the wrong file type.
    Files must be of the type, zip, rar

    That’s the first time I’ve seen that.

    The site has always wanted picture files, jpg’s or whatever.

    You are using the little “tree with the arrow” icon, right? That link will tell you “Images must be of the type, jpg, jpeg, gif, png, and have a maximum file size of 500KB”
