Parts – Trunk Tire

Hey Guys,

My MG-TD replica is missing a tire on the back trunk.  What is the best way to put something nice back there?  Do you just buy a tire, and a random hub cap?  How do people mount it? Have no clue!

Now that is an interesting question!

OK: so the tire is supposed to be a spare tire, and is on many (not all) TDRs. There are different mounting mechanisms for each TDr brand. But the basic idea is pretty simple and can be accomplished with a couple of steel plates and/or straps.

Can you post a picture of what you have (and don’t have?)

without knowing what kind of car you have, it may or may not work.
Any way, it will give you some idea about what you need. Also, you can find hub caps etc.
