We are having trouble trying to figure
out how to get the radiator shell to fit on the car with all of the fiberglass
panels. It seems that the front end and the front of the fiber glass fenders
are too close or tight for the shell to fit. See picture.
IF we somehow get the shell to fit in the
space between the front of the fenders and the front end the side cowels would
not be long enough. We are having a bit of trouble describing the problem. If
we could get some pictures of the detail of that part of a finished car both
inside and outside the hood that might help us. Thanks for any help:?

    Hi.

Front end configuration varied among the various manufacturers.

    Who manufactured your kit?

Check out the thread…Gone and Done It… Placing an original Shell in the FF kit left a gap. I just built it up to where it fit.

    Try the following:

Go to the turquoise colored “Download Manuals” tab on the left side of this page and click on it. Agree to the terms and open the Fiber Fab assembly manual. Go to the “Chrome Grill Installation” section of the manual. Make sure this is correct for your model before making any cuts. Mark the suggested cut lines with tape and see if it will make it fit your body.

    Good Luck
