I’m a volunteer at the local Humane Society. For the local Christmas parade we decided to use the “Cardinal”, and have my wife, dressed in a dog costume that she made, sit on top of the seat while we drove the parade route. That was fun! She waved at hundreds of little kids while I, in my Santa beard. drove slowly along. I used my lights on the light bar to spotlight the dogs that we featuring. That all went wonderfully. By the way, the little antlers that you can get to wear on your head work wonderfully when you tape them to your headlights. The part that I don’t recommend is the driving home at 39 degrees on the interstae at 60 mph with the top down and no heater! Froze my hands, face and unmentionable body parts. Tell me about your 60 degree drives, we’re tough here in Kentucky. P.S., a little over a week ago it was 76!

Each headlamp needs a red ball glued to the center!

December 3, 2011 at 10:16 am #248002What would be really fun is to have one of those huge red novelty keys on a suction cup that VWs used to have and temporarily attach it to the back of the spare tire. I believe wind actually made the key turn. Has anyone seen any of those keys?
