fiber fab ford rear suspension

<p style=”font-weight: 400;”>I have a FiberFab MG TD kit with the Ford base.</p>
<p style=”font-weight: 400;”>The rear springs are reversed so they push down instead of up.</p>
<p style=”font-weight: 400;”>Plan to install coilovers but they would be pushing up on a bump and against the leafs that are pushing down.</p>
<p style=”font-weight: 400;”></p>
<p style=”font-weight: 400;”>To solve the problem, I would heat the leaves with a blow torch to take the tension out of the springs and thereby making them non functional regarding their spring force.</p>
<p style=”font-weight: 400;”>Will that work?</p>
