Rules and Etiquette

 Posting on here is a privilege, not a right. We reserve the right to delete your posts and/or ban you from this forum without prior warning. It is your responsibility to read these rules.

Rules:

1. No abusive posts. Personal attacks based on sexual preference, religion, nationality, race, etc, will not be tolerated.

2. No inflammatory or threatening posts are allowed.

3. Usernames, avatars, and signatures may not contain offensive, obscene, or abusive images or slogans.

4. Do not post the same message in multiple forums. Do not post SPAM about your website or business.

5. Profanity on the Forums is not allowed. The language filter will edit your post for foul wording. Although edited, if it is still deemed offensive, it will be deleted and the posters account may or may not be suspended. Repeat violators  will be banned. 

6. Do not post nudity or offensive pictures. You may post links but must mark them as NSFW (Not Safe for Work).

7. Do not post someone else?s private information such as home address or phone number without their permission. In most cases this is a violation of your Internet service provider contract.

8. Accounts intentionally created to resemble other accounts or in order to deceive or attack other Forum members will be banned. In addition, the person who created the fake account will receive a temporary ban without warning. Each user is allowed one account. Creating more than one account will result in having all of your accounts shut down and banned, without warning.

9. Do not post gibberish, excessive punctuation or smileys, or “test” messages.

Keep in mind that it is MUCH easier to delete a whole thread than individual messages so if a certain thread has a large amount of garbage in it, the entire thing will be deleted, regardless of whether it had any useful information in it. This includes portions of a thread, i.e. moderators delete “from this point forward”.

You can be banned from the Forums for violating any of the posted rules, or ignoring specific instructions from the administrator or any moderator. Continued abuse of the Forums or attempts to get around a ban will result in banishment from access to the entire website.

Take responsibility for your own posts, because we will not. If you don’t like a particular forum, find another or create your own. By using this forum you agree to hold mgclub.devineweb.com blameless and without responsibility for any trauma experienced here.

Forum Etiquette

1. NEVER TYPE IN ALL CAPS, it means you are yelling.

2. Do not use excessive: !@!!punctuation!@!!, smilies , Annoying or unreadable colors, or bold text

3. Before posting your question, search the forum. Your question or comment may have already been discussed, answered, or resolved.

4. Remember you are dealing with real people. Think before you type because you are not anonymous.

5. Lurk before you post. Read the rules and some existing threads. Locate the search button.

6. Respect other people’s time and bandwidth. You are not the center of cyberspace. So…
– Use the private message button or email for personal discussions.
– Do not quote the entire content of the message to which you are replying. Include only as much as is necessary for context. This includes pictures.
– Keep your signature reasonable.

7. Help ensure a useful post or thread…
– Stay on topic.
– Use a clear subject line. Not everyone has time to read every post in these forums. Subjects like “LOL” or “Look at This!” are unacceptable.
– Provide enough details/picture in your question so that people can help you.
– Post in the correct forum. It is almost never appropriate to post the same message in different forums.

8. Help others. The forum is a community, and works best when people share information.

9. Welcome newcomers to this community, and correct mistakes in a courteous manner. You can be banned for abusing site members on the forums, or through email or private messages.
