Signing of for the night. Severe storms with winds 70-75MPH. Already lost som roof shingles. Storm should only last 45 minutes. If all okay I’ll be back on. This will be a great test for the portable garage that the TD is resting in. Wish us luck.

March 18, 2013 at 10:46 pm #255170Made it through with minor damage. Roof shingles folded, the satellite dish was re-aimed and the portable garage only had minor damage that can be repaired with zip ties. And although wet, the TD made it through with no damage. Repairs will start tomorrow. Winds hit 63 MPH and the temp dropped from 71 to 50 in about 40 minutes. Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. Y’all are the best!

My good news is that the pattern you sent me made it to my door today. Thank you so much for your help. I cut a pattern out of plexiglas and test fit it in the three sided frame I have. It fits great with only a little trimming having been required to make it fit. The important thing is that I now am sure the height is correct for the window and I can now figure out how to handle the bottom section.
March 19, 2013 at 12:15 am #255172I’m glad that you made it through that storm. It sounds like relatively minor damage. I need to put up some of those garages for my two kids, if only I can get the back gate to open far enough. Then I can think about getting them insured and taking them on the road again (in good time).
