This is “normally” the weekend us Yoopers are opening up our winter storage units and swapping the snowmobiles for the ATVs, Snowblowers for the lawnmowers and taking those warm weather toys home to get prepped for the season. Like I said……normally! We still have three feet of snow out on the flat and level, eight foot banks along the streets. Called the storage place and they will let folks in when the snow banks melts. In that case, I won’t being seeing the MGTD until mothers day or even memorial day!!!
March 29, 2014 at 3:27 pm #260043You are not alone . We here in Western NY usually get the same weather you do just a day or to later . Tonight the forecast is for 6 inches of snow . My car is kept in my garage so I’ve been cleaning and getting it ready . THINK SPRING!!!!!! is the best we can do
March 29, 2014 at 10:02 pm #260044Getting dumped on again this weekend. But at least the precip is clear and not white!
Moving in the right direction!

March 30, 2014 at 10:56 am #260045A couple snow flurries last week, but no accumulation. I AM getting snowed under by spring projects around the farmstead that’s consuming all my time, instead of my TDr… 🙁

Slowly coming back from the ashes...March 31, 2014 at 11:34 am #260046I feel bad saying this, but over here in Cali I had to put the top BACK on for a little rain after some sunny 70 degree weather. Hope this crazy winter clears up soon for all you stuck in the snow still!

March 31, 2014 at 8:27 pm #260051While neither of my kit cars are running right now, it’s the perfect time of year (all winter, really) for top down driving, and I’m enjoying my Honda S2000. Yes, I’ll pay a price in the summer, but for three seasons of top-down weather, it’s no wonder Arizona is the number two site that is searched for by those tired of dealing with the cold and snow of winter.
Hey, Mother Nature! Enough with the snow, already. It’s Spring!March 31, 2014 at 8:41 pm #260052I just got back from a little 15-mile jaunt here in Houston, where it’s sunny and 62 degrees. But really, I do feel for you snowbound folks, and know that in a few months you’ll have some great cruising weather while I’ll be dealing with 100-plus temps and humidity in the mid-90s. All we can do is enjoy it while we can.

April 1, 2014 at 7:59 am #260054Luckily I don’t have to contend with snow like some of you. And…no pics with shorts and sandals this time!

We get all this snow…yet we still get to enjoy “Texas-like” hundred degree days with 95% humidity in the summer.

April 2, 2014 at 7:59 pm #260056Doesn’t sound like much of a bargain to me. I’m just grateful that we don’t have to shovel humidity.
