    I’m getting ready to change the oil in my transaxle.  A VW.  What do you guys use?  Recommendations?

    90 weight oear oil.

    I know that 90W is what the book says.  But I also know that there have been many improvements(?) in oils.  That is the reason for the question.

    Roy,

    Here’s a link to the  MT-90 75W90 GL-4 Transaxle Oil used on VWs, Audis, Mazdas and a lot of other cars. Its sold by Mid America but you an get it anywhere. I like the ad because it tells about the oil.
