Question for you folks about the turn signal indicator wiring. The question is how do you have them wired so the left comes on when you turn left and the right comes on when you turn right? VW lights them both up regardless of which way you turn. I don’t have a standard kit wiring. I have the universal dune buggy wiring. But I can make my own using the 70 Beetle wiring diagram. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I don’t have a VW kit, but if the indicator lamps are tapped into the individual wires running to the right or left lamps,  problem solved.

I did what Bill said. Put a splitter on both L&R wires before they went through the firewall and ran one to the indicator one to the blinkers.

Sounds like a good plan. I’ll pick up a couple of splitters on the way hom from work. Thanks Bill and Nobody!
