E-bay item # 130383753310 Check this one out . If what the ad says is true, this is rare.Buy it now for $22,000. It just may be the most authentic replica ever produced.
April 16, 2010 at 11:03 pm #241113Wow. Had anyone here heard of that company before?
April 17, 2010 at 7:43 am #241114Beautiful but:
1. Black was not an original interior color. Red, Green and Baige were the choices.
2. I believe headlight mounts should have been painted instead of chrome.
3. Not sure if door hinges should have been painted.
April 17, 2010 at 7:55 am #241115Beautiful

I never heard of them before.
April 17, 2010 at 10:39 pm #241116Wow. That is beautiful.
I’ve been around this hobby since the early 1980s and do not recall this car.
Gene’s comments are right on target. Black was not original. The headlight mounts should be painted body color (so should the headlight buckets! except for ’50 and ’51 TDs). Yes, painted door hinges are correct.
This is the best TD history site I’ve run across. The link is to the paint and finishes page. But take some time and wander around the entire site.

April 20, 2010 at 3:22 pm #241119Jas…maybe the buyer will grace our forum and we can all ask him were he got the cash…
April 26, 2010 at 9:41 pm #241120hmmm. No sale:
Ended: Apr 26, 201010:57:04 PDT Bid history: 9 bids Current bid: US $9,600.00 Reserve not met
April 27, 2010 at 7:28 pm #241121I’m not surprised he didn’t get to his reserve. I think 12 to 15 would be max for me if I didn’t already have mine. It’s a really nice replica, but you can get a nice real TD for the same money. Maybe I have that lottery ticket for tonight..
