I have a NEW, completely unbuilt Kit Car. Specifically, it is a 1952 MG TD made by FiberFab. This is not a VW based car. This car has a robust steel frame, 2 x 4 box tubing, designed to utilize Chevette rack & pinion, a-arms, sustmension, etc. You CAN use Chevette running gear, but I considered using LS running gear. The frame is certainly built well enough to take it.

Again, the car is completely new and unbuilt. It was built, and shipped to CT in 1987.

I have inventoried the kit, and EVERYTHING originally included is there EXCEPT for a few vert minor, easily replaceable items:

1. Seat foam.

2. Radio, speakers, antenna.

3. Disassembly and assembly videos.

 

Exterior gelcoat is white. Interior is RED. Carpets are RED. Top is Black, Tonneau cover is white.

The entire kit can be packed into a full size, extended cap pickup. A better idea would be an enclosed trailer. If you are far away, I can pack everything into a POD’s pod  or similar. You pay the freight.

Car is located in Litchfield, CT, stored indoors in my workshop. I have become physically unable to build the car.

I have purchased a 1983 Chevette with 4 speed. Not included at this price, but available if you need to buy one. Also avaialble is a fully rebuilt Chevette engine with 0 miles.

I am going to buy a 2011 or 2012 Mustang, or Challenger RT.  If you have one for sale and will take this car as a trade in, let me know. I’ll try to work something out with you.

Trades ACCEPTED: I’d like to trade UP for a 2011 or 2012 Mustang or Challenger RT but will consider any vehicle of equal or greater value. Old Pickup? Jeep with a snow plow? Rolls Royce? OK, kidding about the Rolls Royce.

I can’t consider anything difficult to get into or out of.

To clarify, you will need a Chevette donor car, or at least steering & suspension from a Chevette. CHEVETTE AVAILABLE IF YOU NEED ONE.
