I gave in and paid for us to get “upgraded” security on the site. The number of crummy logins today finally got to me. There’s usually a handfull each day where nefairous actors try to log in to non-existant accounts and exploit the system. This morning there were ~40. Hopefully this upgrade will slow that down a bit.
I’ve also gone ahead and blocked a few countries outright, china, vietnam, russia, india, that were persistently sending false logins. While I think most of us are in the U.S., it still rubs me the wrong way to have to block legitimate folks.
