Can anyone tell me where the VIN is located on a London Roadster?

Searched, and so no mention on the forum.

    Thanks!

Look on the top of the tunnel under the seat.  Right on top, may be under some carpeting.

Chip, Congratulations on a GREAT car. Your LR is built on a custom chassis so the vin may not be on top of the tunnel under the seat ,which is the location for the ones using the VW pan. Check the driver side door jams . It may be an ”assigned vin” from the state in which it was previously registered. It could also be under the carpet  maybe on the side of the tunnel.

Chip. yes your Vin number should be  under the seat riveted to the tunnel. I have a custom chassis also .  Take all the info that came with your LR to i.e. car manaul etc . The DMV officer here in NC  wanted all the info . It  may  make the registration process easier.

    congrats !

    Thanks gang!

It was under the seat, on the tunnel.

No troubles registering at all. I think having the previous title (Make: London, Model: Roadster, Year 1985) helped, as-well-as me never saying the word “kit”.

The weather has been great, and I just turned my 200th mile (in 2 days)…..THIS THING IS AWESOME!!!

I will try to post some pics soon.

She got delivered Thursday night, just in time for a beautiful 4-day weekend. I couldn’t have asked for better, as we got 4 straight days of gorgeous sunny day. First day back at work today was a lot easier to handle since it’s been pouring all day!
