VW Car Show

Went to a VW Car Show and Drag Meet locally yesterday. Usually just take pics to add to my car show site and there, entered in the show as a work in progress is a 52 MGTD on a VW frame.talked with the ownwer who is from Columbus, GA. He said there is someone else in Columbus with a yellow TD replica. I told hime about the MGTD Kit Car Forum and wrote the web site down. Maybe he’ll log on and get the other TD owner to do the same. That’s pretty cool because that’ll make 4 TDs in Georgia.

I’ll post the photos this weekend when I get back from my TDY to Maryland. Cooler here in MD than GA.

Nice shots Allen. The red ‘vert with the white wall tires is a sweet one. I liked the Benning auto Parts rod too. That your red TD?

No. The red TD was owned buy a guy in Columbus, GA who had just biught it a couple of days before the show. I told him about the TD Replica club and passed on our club info. The Benning Auto Parts Rod is a self made VW hot rod pickup made by the TD owner’s mechanic. The TD owner also owns Benning Auto Parts, just outside Ft. Benning. I post all the photos of VW shows on that web site.
