Greeting ya ll, I am trying to locate a similar mounting hardware attachment, for my classic roadsters windshield, “Wind Wings”. MG Magic does not have any and Brad said he has never seen my current mounting system. The current mount is an aluminum male hinge with a chrome female U shaped hinge. Moss Motors uses a different attachment for the original MGTD replacement.
Thanks for your help! Also is there any one from the club that lives in Florida, a rally Ride would be fun.

March 29, 2011 at 1:57 pm #244058I hesitate to even suggest these.
I believe they will work, as they appear to follow the contour of the windsield frame on my Duchess. But Lord Almighty, these are pricey!

I also think they will interfere with the side curtains.
I’m sure my Duchess has the brackets you are describing Dave. I’ll keep hunting for a source.

March 29, 2011 at 3:22 pm #244059I’m using these on my car. Not sure about how they would work with side curtains as I don’t use them.
These brackets are thru bolted thru the windshield frame.

December 3, 2011 at 10:36 am #244060It’s hard for me to imagine that no one has tried these brackets for mounting either side mirrors or wind wings http://www.bandkmfg.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=28_24 &products_id=77
Come on guys. Will they fit on my Daytona MiGi? They sure look like they are made for it.
December 3, 2011 at 11:23 am #244061I got my wind wing set this spring (I think, maybe summer) from Ponce. He’s in the member’s section up on top.. At the time I think he had some more. Worth a try.
And yes there are 6 (I think) members located in FL. Check the TD Registry.

I’ve seen those, not in person, but the same web site.
The cut out looks proper for the frame on my Duchess. They will probably fit your frame.
But at least on my car, they would interfere with the side curtains, which snap along the outside of the windshield frame.
