On the VW based wiring harnesses. How do you count how many circuits you have? By the number of fuses or by the types of equipment they power? Have to order a kit and don’t know if I need an 8 or 12 circuit kit.
Thanks in advance for the help.

It’s more that the equipment will determine the number of circuits you need.
Have I sent you my Duchess schematics?

Pretty sure the VW Duchess has only six.

The Duchess does have 6 but I’m going to go with the 8 so I can have room if I want to add the Air Horn and Defroster. Do you have a defroster in your Duchess?Allen Caron

I run the “normal” VW forced hot air into the car through ducts under the seat. the passenger compartment is so small that it really does get too hot if you have the heat all the way on. The cable control to the heater boxes is hooked up.
The air moved by the defroster blower will not melt ice. Btu it does keep the windshield fog free.
