Thanks to all for the great well wishes on completing my car. A little more info for all: completed 12 more years in air force anddragged kit around four moves, did seven more years with Lockheed, then found a friend to help me. Took two years to build, then original engine had to bereplaced( I touched a crank bearing with my thumb and after 85 miles it failed to properly get lubrication and ruined the crank). So I bought another engine and it runs great. Also, had to sue state DMV to get registration; CMC did not provide me a certificate of origin. So, hope all enjoyed my story, believe me, I could write a book on building the car. Clark
