The bed is finished!!!!
Nothing like rain and mud slides to get some chores done.
MG branded pickup beds are quite common…NOT!!!
But you can make your own.
I still like the lines.
Now I just have to chase down the oil leak and install new rear shocks and springs.
Maybe it will keep raining.

Sorry for the confusion.

I’ve been using the Goose as my daily driver to work and found I need more cargo space for tools and gack. I had seen a photo of Moss Motor’s delivery rig and decided to emulate them…
So I’m in the process of making an MG TD pickup.
I got the bed from Speedway Motors, fiberglass. It’s almost a slide-in fit. The filler neck (also on…[Read more]

Yes. Alpha Romero sport rear end is almost a bolt-in. See my post in “Chevy 2.2L Dutchess” Page 6 for my install.
I’m still having issues posting pictures otherwise I’d put some here. But page 6 has pix.

My TD is a Dutchess which I have upengined to a Chevy S-10 2.2 L engine with 5 speed trany. (see my build on the ‘my projects’ Forum “Chevy 2.2L Dutchess)
I’m building a TearDrop to tow.
I’ve towed a couple of “Motorcycle-type ” trailers with no problems.

Only problem I’m having is I cannot post more than one picture as I have to have the location copied to the clipboard before I write because if I navigate away from the page to get another pix everything I have written is deleted and I have to start with a clean page.
Fix?

I’ve got a TDR with a modern 2.2L Chevy engine. I use her as a daily driver here in SoCal so I use the freeways all the time. 70 MPH is more comfortable than a bike but less than an enclosed car. On the other hand get used to getting your picture taken and the waves and honks.
