I just had to make the same repair on my newly acquired CR Duchess. I went to Lowes (Home Depot) and picked up a package of “star washers” (have teeth around the inside). You’ll need one with an interior size that is slightly smaller than the square stem. Use a needle nose pliers to push it on to stem and the washer teeth should bend around the stem and secure the latch in place. Hope that works for you as it did for me.

    Paul,

I too have attempted to e-mail you directly at pdew@bellsouth.net and was unsure it you were receiving it from me.

Unless you sent it under a different name I have not been able to receive any of your information. The second letter of my address is a “V” and not a “U” which understandably is often miss read. Another e-mail address you may try is dvckbone@hotmail,com  which is a shared account for the family. I am looking forward to seeing what you have.

Hello. I am new to the forum and just beginning my research into owning one of these fun rides. I live in southcentral VA. and would like to begin looking at a couple different ones. M Watson (I will give you a call later this week to the # listed above), MG da and Grandmommy, are you still interested in selling yours. If you have pictures you can share I’d love to see them (dvckbone@yahoo.com). Also, any advice on what features, issues, advantages in design, etc. that anyone might have for a newbie, please do. Thanks
