We have a small group of TD and speedster owners in the 100 mile
area and hope to get together around Sept in MD, but I was still hoping
to put something together or this summer in the Blue ridge – maybe Skyline
Dr. – anyway we should try and get together some time.

I have one that I will part w/ – it is fiberglass and I spent lots of time making
it nice and smooth than had it painted – decided to go w/ a a spare instead.

My fiberfab has flat rods that extend the original controls farther back – can’t
you just use a different hole in the rod or make a new one to push the clutch
back a bit and leave the other two where they are?

I might be able to do, but was hoping it would be a little more south then
north.

If you have one of those spray ends that has different choices use the one labeled (flat spray) and that way it is easy to spray down w/o getting the
inside wet. I don’t even have a top and clean mine all the time in this
manner.

You must keep the tins in that keep the upper and lower parts of the engine
away from each other – otherwise you will get all the heat from the exhaust
area back into the upper engine area – more heat!
I solved this issue for my car by installing two scoops made from HVAC duct
and ran 3 or 4″ lines up to my front firewall that pushed cool air into…[Read more]

I think Dennis may be on to the answer – Richard had the same issue last
year at Carlisle – it would run for a while then lose power and die. His issue
was a plugged up tank at the bottom. I think I would clean out the tank and
make sure your fuel line is clean – blow it out backward w/ compressed air.

Wish mine was like that before I bought my basket case – oh well it was

Ya Ed – Richard ( Crazy MG Guy – CMGG for short ) decided you were one of
those sit all day at the car show kind of guys instead of the lets go cruising
kind of guy – what happened?

Anyway – CMGG ( Richard ) took us on a couple of well paced rides through
the PA hills and we had a great time.

They have a coupon for that oil on line now – I think like 50.00 off per case.
A 2.00 off per quart of the part syn oil w/ high zinc just went off sale I think
– I got about a case of the stuff for like 2.95 per quart at Auto Zone.
