    I’m a new owner (6mos) of a beautiful (see photos) factory built
    Classic Roadsters Duchess with Pinto engine and Chevette rearend with a
    4 speed.  She runs great, requiring only a little tuneup.  The wife and
    I have had almost constant grins since we got her. The one thing I
    don’t  love is the gas tank.
       One of the previous owners has
    placed a larger tank that is so big it fits under the frame rails
    rather than up in the rails where it is protected.  It tends to drag on
    low spots and makes it more Pinto-like than I’d care to have.  I’ve
    looked around and can’t find the  replacement. I can get a marine tank
    the right size and make some brackets,  but wonder if anyone has a tank
    or any ideas on what might fit.   Thanks in advance.

    @pmossberg

    Contact Classic Roadsters and ask if they have any parts for their old cars. They no longer propduce the Duchess, but you might get lucky.

    Contact name is Don Scott, email don@classicroadsters.com

        Thanks for the lead.  I’ve already tried MG Magic with no luck so I’ll let you know what happens at Classic .
