    Hey gang;

    I need some input. I’m re-doing my dash this winter and got to thinking about the final finish on it.  My old one had almost no gloss due to wear and tear.  Since it’s a flat surface and at an angle, could a gloss finish cause me problems when the sun is at my back?

    What kinda of finishes do yall have and how’s it working in the sun?

    Would you change if you could? and what would your final finish be, gloss, semi, or flat?

    Thanks for the input

    Hi Ringo,

    I’ve seen high gloss and matte. Both look great. I

    Ive never heard the owner of a TD with a high gloss dash complain about glare. So it’s really a matter of your preference.

    My own is not gloss. I simply prefer that look.

    And that’s part of the beauty of the kit car world. They are not 100% original reproductions, so you are free to experiment.

    If you own a TDr and are not in the Registry, please go to https://tdreplica.com/forums/topic/mg-td-replica-registry/ and register (you need to copy and paste the link)
