As you-all could probably guess, I’m not the type to leave well enough alone. These little tidbits are the result of my trolling for ideas for my BCW, which my fiance has consented to my naming “Bridget.” As she’s mechanically sound (apparently), I’m really keen to get her looks just that much closer to that of the original model (the car, I’m talking about, not the future wife). Hence my question, earlier, on the possibility of relocating the P-brake stick to a spot between the seats.

A look at the Haynes manual suggests it’s possible, if not as simple as the “bend-back” method. Don’t think I’ll get to it this winter, but next year, maybe. If/when I do it I’ll post a how-to seminar w/ pics if there’s interest.
