Yep, the front end on the factory car I have is a Chevette. They moved the bottom shock mount from the top A-arm to the bottom A-arm and made a bracket on the top A-arm around the pivot points. Simple, but it works good and parts are available.
Ringo,Thanks for the quick response and the picture too.My BCW has the shock mounted to the rear side of the lower control arm with the top end connected to a bracket coming off the frame.CMC used a similar set up but the shock is on the front side of the suspension.Again may I say you have a great MG replica.
