    @newkitman

    I figure I pretty much know the answer but will ask just in case the question is beating around in someone’s brain bucket just dying to fly out. Has their ever been an Owner’s Manual similar to an MG TD Owner’s Manual for any of our kit cars?

    Did see the download manuals link on this website? I downloaded the one for

    my MGTD and it has been a great help and a wealth of info.

    Likr “red” said, the original kit manufacturers provided assembly manuals.

    These are not owners’ manuals in the traditional sense. I varying degrees of detail, they were the “big car” equivalent of the instructions in your plastic scale model kits.

    Also, I would bet that thsoe that bought turn-key cars received nothing.

    If you can get an assembly manual for your car, great!

    On this site, we have:

    • FiberFab manuals for Pinto and VW based kits
    • Classic Motor Carriages (CMC) for Chevette and VW (the later manuals after FiberFab bought out CMC)

    I have the Classic Roadsters Ltd. asssembly manual for their VW based kit. It is not yet here on the tdreplica site.

    In addition to an assembly manual, you should also pick up serviceand repair manuals for your donor car, whatever that happened to be.

    If you own a TDr and are not in the Registry, please go to https://tdreplica.com/forums/topic/mg-td-replica-registry/ and register (you need to copy and paste the link)

    I’ve got the British Coach Works book for the VW kits. Maybe get to scan it one day.
