I think there are a few general motorheads out there. You know who you are. And you might enjoy this.
If you follow Formula 1 at all, you are probably aware of the complexity of an F1 steering wheel. the driver is able to control numerous functions and car settings with buttons and dials on the steering wheel. It’s a wonder how they are able to keep up with it all, while simultaneously wheeling their car around a track at speeds and g-forces we can only imagine.
While I’m familiar with it, until yesterday I had no idea exactly how many and what functions were actually within the driver’s reach. The mystery is now revealed. At their 2013 car launch yesteday the Lotus F1 team released a close up of their new steering wheel. Look closely. Very closely.
