    The spare pan looks much better than the pan the body is resting on.

    BUT….It looks like someone cut out a large section of tunnel to relocate the pedal cluster mount and shifter and then riveted a patch over the gaping hole.
     
    TDr’s chassis strength comes from that center tunnel. That “patch should be the same guage as the tunnel steeel and it should be welded in. Judging from the picture, neither is true, what I think is a significant weakness.

    Is the shifter set back too far in the picture of the spare pan? It almost looks like it is almost where the e-brake should be relocated to.

    Shifter is a few inches too far back. I think Mossberg’s concern in the larger one, though welding can fix it.
