In case anyone is interested: I just put Bridget’s old engine up for sale on the Samba. $300.
She’s a good-running, original 1966 F-series 1300, probably with 1500 jugs.Case has never been cut or line-bored, according to the guy who put the car together 35 years ago. Engine leaks a little oil but doesn’t burn any.
