    Hello.

I no longer own an MG and I am contacting your club or your club manager with this message for a very special reason. In 2022 I lost a very dear and lifelong friend who passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly. Back in the late 1980s he built a 1952 MGTD kit car on a Ford Pinto frame. He sold the car, we believe, sometime in the early to mid 90s and we are attempting to locate it. His wife does not have any detailed info such as a VIN or a former registration. So we are inquiring in various places, mostly in Virginia and the DC area, to see if we can locate the car to possibly purchase it and bring it back into the family. Even if we locate the current owner and we are not able to purchase it, we would at least like to know where it is and keep track of it so if it is ever actually available we could perhaps get it. My friend lived in Northern Virginia in McClean and his name was George Bergeris. If I was able to do so on your site I forwarded pictures of the car and the manual he used to build it for the person who receives this message on your organizations behalf for that person to post both this message and the pictures on your site if possible. I am also going to try to contact any national organizations to see if they can post this message or send it out to their local clubs. If any of the local clubs I am sending this message to are associated with a national club of some sort and can forward it to that national club for them to post I would really appreciate it. If these pictures look familiar to anyone in your organization or someone has a history of their car or someone else’s car that indicates that car may have been owned by George and may be the one I am looking for please PM me so we can talk. Or feel free to call me at 717-253-0984.

Please trust me on something here. We are not looking for this car to sell it or try to make money on it. This is being done for purely sentimental reasons.

    Thanks very much!!
