    Although it seems to operate correctly while the engine is running my speedometer (stock FF kit) does not drop to 0 when the engine is shut off. Is this normal?
    Also, any ideas on calibration of same?

    Speedometer ought to read 0 when the car isn’t moving, whether the engine is on or not. 

    Do you mean the tachometer?
    A lot of times, as they get older, they don’t go all the way back to zero. Not a worry, I’d say, unless you were really depending on its accuracy for racing.

    Right again. I meant that other big dial, the tachometer.
    Now I understand why I keep getting pulled over for going too slow. 😀
