53 MG kit car. Has 71 vw motor and manual transmission. Has cover for top of interior not in pictures. May trade for 28′ enclosed trailer or 6500.00 obo 
It doesn’t have a top or wipers either. Where are the door handles? How finished is this car?
I like the color scheme. Looks to be British Racing Green and Cream. Nice looking TD.

"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackI like the color scheme also. I think that this may be a really great car, but the price is a bit steep. Could definitely use more (and better) pictures. That dash mounted rear view mirror has got to go. I don’t even see the cowl humps for the wiper arms – what’s with that? Front bumper, door handles. And, the glove box door isn’t right either. All these are easily and rather inexpensively fixable.
I wouldn’t kick her out of my garage. Very close to being a stunner.
I agree with Roy. Beautiful car.
Builder was obviously going for some sort quasi-racer look, no bumpers, no outside door handles, no wipers(?).If drive train is as nicely done as the car…this will be a complete car in short order.The issues I see:- Ad says there is a cover for interior. A tonneau? Or a roof?
- Dash mirror is ugly as Roy succinctly points out (altho I can bet why the owner chose what he did…needed to get it high enough to actually be useful!)
- Exterior door handles…easy fix. He has the latches installed. Drill three holes in each door and attach the exterior handles
- Replace the glove box door (might be a bogger job than that, depending on how much dsh was cut away).
- add bumpers
Two bigger issues:- Builder installed the windshield frame in the proper orientation for an original TD. But most of our cars have it installed with the grooves facing forward, because of the way our windows and side curtains attach.
- Windshield wipers. It’s hard to tell, but it does look like the bumps were shaved away. If they were, it’s gonna be a big job to install them.

Paul, good catch about the windshield. It’s backward installation would make it likely that the top (assuming it is not a tonneau) has never been installed. Turning the windshield around can be a big job. If the frame needs to be redrilled and tapped it can substantially weaken the frame. However, if you get lucky, just reverse and bolt up. Easy!
This type of windshield means no top-mounted wiper motor will work. And oriented that way means no top/hood can work. So it’s a great candidate for a Brooklands-only windscreen treatment. The rear view mirror is very VSCCA.
