THIS is a bucket list!
I was surprised to see I’ve hit fifteen of these roads already. Only 35 to go!
I could debate some of the writer’s choices. But it would still be fun to hit all fifty roads!

I’ve driven on the Mass, Vermont, Conn, Mississippi (because I can spell it lol) and Wisc scenic routes. Also have done the Tail of the Dragon in Tenn. All fun rides. And you are correct. These are going to be added to my bucket list.Allen Caron

"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackI don’t buy Bourbon Street as a driving destination. Sure, a great place to have fun but it’s closed to vehicular traffic most of the day and it’s nothing but a straight shot narrow street that runs a little over ten blocks between Canal and Esplanade. Driving wise, nothing to write home about. A better drive for Louisiana would be River Road between Baton Rouge and Harahan. Once you get past that you are pretty much in New Orleans and it’s just city driving from there. My two cents, mileage may vary.
I’ve driven or ridden on my motorcycle the ones in California, Arizona, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Delaware and Virginia. Those were very nice rides.Vicenç - (bee sense)

With ya on Bourbon Street. I’ve driven all over N.O. and don’t recommend it–except to get in and out. Trolleys and taxis otherwise….
I have driven Skyline Drive, part of the PCH in CA, 7 mile bridge (not the best in FL but, yeah, unusual); the Del drive, the CT road (everything up around Willington, Ashford & Mansfield is pretty scenic–including 44) the Ohio road, the Maine road, AZ 179 through Sedona, Beartooth in Montana, the Vegas Strip (whoopee, right?), Ocean Drive in RI (used to live in Newport; think I may have skate-boarded that one once). That’a only 12 out of 50, and I have not even done the MD drive even though I’ve lived here for over a decade. That proves I’m not trying, right?Great list, Paul.I forgot about the Strip, Ed. Agree on Bourbon Street…like I initially wrote, I can debate some of the choices. But that’s half the fun.
Pretty funny Ed, I’ve lived in NJ and PA…have done fifteen of the listed drives…but haven’t done either the PA or NJ drive. 😉

The Vegas Strip??? Heck, I live in Vegas and I totally avoid driving on the Strip (Las Vegas Boulevard). It’s just crawling along at 3 mph, smelling fumes, and nothing for the driver to see because you’re too busy trying to avoid rear-ending other vehicles or running over pedestrians. When we go to shows on the Strip, we just duck in from one of the east-west roads. The less time spent on Las Vegas Boulevard the better. There ARE nice drives out here, though. One is at Red Rocks off Charleston Ave. on the far west side of town, there is Mount Charleston, there is Valley of Fire, and the perimeter of Lake Mead. And although the ride itself is boring, if you take the freeway down to Primm, you can go see the Bonnie & Clyde Death Car, complete with LOTS of bulletholes and bloody clothes taken off Clyde after he was killed.
