I have a problem with my password . At some point my password that I have used for years quit working for some unknown reason . I decided to get a new one thinking I would get to choose it . I was given a long numbered and letter password . At my age  it would take a long time to memorize it . Am I able to choose my own  and if I can how do I do that

    Greg,

I had to use a new password. I believe it now has to be 12 to 16 (or 18 characters.) And it must contain numbers, letters, and special characters and is case sensitive. Check the “New Site, new forums etc” topic. Stephen has a webmaster email you can send him and he’ll walk you through it. I worked with him on mine and its now working great!

Missed this thread until just now, sorry for the delay. @greg-press did you get it sorted out? I can look at shorter less complex passwords, but not sure the system will allow it.

For what it’s worth, I’m still using my old password, letters only, all lowercase, no numbers,

Me too. But I had to clear my browser’s cache to get it to work.

You can change your password. Click on your name and avatar at the top right of the screen, then click settings. Just put in your new password and save changes.

it does have to more “complex” than before, but you can change it from what it was set to.
