    @pmossberg

    A good friend to many of us and long time club member Roy Hendrix passed away last week. Roy was a giant among men, literally and figuratively. May he Rest In Peace.

    Here is his obituary:

    Roy’s memory is definitely a blessing. He was generous, mischievous and just the right kind of silly—but you’d never want to have to fight him.

    He was a real builder: helped put together two of Jack Breza’s cars and adapted the hubs on his MiGi to fit real wire wheels by himself.

    Nuclear sub commander, and ran a bed & breakfast for years.

    I miss that guy already but mostly I’m just in awe of the full life he had.

    (I have a more recent pic I’d like to share but this website isn’t allowing photo uploads now).
