Paul. Don’t know what the vents at MG Magic look like. They don’t have a picture of all the parts they offeer. If they are the rectangular ones, then those are the ones I need.

Black, and not directional, but motorcycle/ATV air box vents might work. Just remove the foam filters:

Rocky, these might work:

Rocky, I have four of them in the cowl of my Duchess. But you can’t have them.
Allen, are you sure these are the parts MG Magic lists? Their price list shows:Defroster Kit for SSK/TD (Hose and Vents) $69.85Defroster Vent Rubber, SSK/TD/SPD (2 Required) $8.85

It is becoming a question of replacement or repair. I got a complete second body and I am trying to decide whether to replace the orginal body or repair. Anybody know a good fiberglass guy in NC?

Rocky. Those defroster vents look like the ones that can be used with my TD. On my TD the defroster is an option (which I have) but I do not have the ducts. MG Magic sells them for 8.85 each or the defroster kit (hose and vents) for 69.85. newkitman2012-07-27 12:23:52

Ed. Thanks for the offer. I’ll wait on the wiper arms. I got to thinking and the arms I have are the old ones from my 74 Ghia. Windshield is way larger on that one. I’ll just hunt down the new vendors at the car show saturday and see if I can get new floor pans and a new gas cap with gasket, and…and…and…! Plus I get to see a lot of nice cars.

Greg, sit tight; I have a set from my BCW that might work for you. I’ll send them for shipping cost if you want them.Not sure the length but pretty sure they are the VW arms (69) fitted with shorter (9 inch?) blades. I’m away from home but will measure them Sunday for you if you want.
