I agree, it was all about the car.  If I remember right, after the fire they then shoved it in a pond.   Still one of our fav movies.

Those side panels are almost flat, no? I’m thinking a good metal man could make a pair out of aluminum. Get ’em louvered as original. Attach them with four of those quarter-turn aircraft fasteners.Still won’t be a “sleeper” though….

I think Albert Finney’s character made her not like the movie. The car wasn’t in enough scenes to make up for it. After it caught fire, it was all down hill from there.

Great movie Two for the Road.. who cares about the script … it’s all about seeing the MG TD……

Thanks for thinking of me, but I wasn’t overly pleased with the cut out in my hot rod fenders that I have now. The only cars I’ve had with no engine hood were model cars I glued together (with an open window, thanks, Mom). I’m getting used to the look now, but secretly wish it was a real sleeper.

You might want to wait on the finnal sanding, Interlux say’s it doesn’t need to be sanded,

Yes that’s where I did my lime runs in Texas. I wonder if it was aTexas thing? Shore was a fun run tho.

I used a match book cover to set my points on my 57 ford also.

Has any one ever heard of a lime run? I ran one in the 50tys.Took MiGi out for some go juice yesterday got lot of thumbs up.
