I also took some of the other guys advice here on the site and removed 4 of the half leaves, it rides real nice. If you can weld you will be out around 60 bucks as opposed to an adjustable beam which I believe are around 275. of course I had a whole day of…[Read more]

The BCW front engine car was a Chevette based, I think. The hood hinged in the middle but the side piece of the hood stayed put–they weren’t hinged to the top pieces as in the original TD. More like a TF design.

Do you need the top material only or do you need the whole assembly? I was directed towards MG Magic in Hollywood FL. Give them a try they may have what you need.

Dbrock, You say that you are looking at a TD. Is it steel or fiberglass? If it’s steel. it sounds like a MG that has had a Ford engine and trans swapped in to it.
British Coach Works is the only replica with the hood split down the center ,,, Wait a miniute, Seems like I remember seeing a few Classic Roadster Duchess cars with hoods like you…[Read more] -

So yours are NOT “Aoogah” horns. I think the ones at MG Magic are. May leave those off the list for the moment. I’ll have a look see at Harbor Freight tomorrow morning. Thanks guys.

I have the dual chrome air horns from Harbor Freight. Awesome sound, great price, about 60 bucks for the 18 inch ones. I have a pair of city horns from Harbor Freight, 9″ for 12 bucks, each have their own compressors.
