You won’t find any “parts stores” per se for kit car parts. But the best source for parts for any MG TD replica is MG Magic.

I also have a Daytona Migi built in 1982 on a 71 chassis and motor. I believe it to be all original and I do have an original assembly manual. If you have any questions I can look it up for you.
I am looking for clubs or contacts so I can gather info as well. I am going to Florida soon. Does anyone know of a parts place there. Thanks.

Mel,
Bought and installed the same radio last year. Same problem, thickness of the dash would not allow me to use fader controls. I also have two speakers mounted in rear, so it didn’t turn out to be much of a problem. Have about three hours of music on a USB stick, I listen to the stick mostly when I can remember to bring it with me. Darn good…[Read more] -

Thanks for the link Mel. The only problem is that I have to power 4 speakers and 2 x 15 watts probably won’t cut it. I think the memory card feature is really great though. Thanks again

billnparts replied to the topic Seat Back Mounting Method in the forum VW Based Kits 15 years, 6 months ago
I just noticed your address. I reside in Douglassville. I have owned my TD for 20 years, upgrading as I go. My seat back has been narrowed and shortened and moved back quite a bit. The seat base las beel lowered. The seat back adjustors on mine came from Moss, for original TD’s. If I can be of help, let me know.

billnparts replied to the topic Ford Header in the forum Chevy/Ford Kits 15 years, 6 months ago
Just for Informational trivia. In 1979 only, Ford used a tube header on one model of Mustang. No, it wasn’t the pace car. I came across one during an inventory of a Ford dealer years ago. It has the rail to cover the small exhaust holes in the head. I replaced the long tube header on my car and picked up needed ground clearance since my ride is lowered.

I agree with you Mark. But…
Daytons will run over $2,000 for a set of four. Nobody ever said Truspokes were cheap. But for someone commited to real wires, they ae less than Dayton. -
