That is a nice looking car but I do have to agree that the huge wings take something away from the overall look.

I didn’t know about the battery being located under the passenger seat, mine came with the battery in the front. I’ll have to check and see if mine will work there also. Classic Roadsters Ltd. Duchess the battery under the passenger seat (i.e.: stock VW location).

There is plenty of room for the heater duct to run between the battery and the bodywork.

Caveat…if a different manufacturer, your situation may be different.

I have left the tops on my TDr and on my ’65 Plymouth down for months at a time with no problems.

If you find it a bit snug when you raise it, sit the car in the sun for a while. The vinyl will warm up and relax.

We need to know the Ohm operating range for the Dolphin and Royal Cockpit gauges.

If they are the same, your sending unit will be fine. If they are different, you will need a new sending unit to match the Dolphin gauge.
